Solidarity, Support, & Change

It has been a rough and triggering couple of weeks. The violence and targeted racism in this country has been driven by the evil of white supremacy.

We’ve been fighting against anti-Black and anti-Asian violence for far too long. We stand with our Asian American communities with a sense of understanding.

There is an emotional tie and expense connected to the news and media outlets sharing the traffic events from Georgia. We are triggered.

I encourage you to take time away from screens. Take time for self care.

Employers, check in on your employees, especially Black, Brown, and Asian decent staff. We are all hurting right now and we need understanding, compassion, and solidarity.

We are all in this fight together.

Take whatever time you need to prioritize your mental health and really pay attention to the awareness from your current employer and/or employers you’re considering applying to work with.

Statements aren’t enough.

We need company cultures centering safe spaces, equity, and inclusivity at all times.

We need action and values rooted in social, gender, and racial justice for ALL.

In power,
