Mo Viviane is looking for Rural Trans Kentuckians who are Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) and want to share their experiences on healthcare access. Folks interested in participating are encouraged to complete a short questionnaire for an investigative reporting piece covering trans healthcare access in Kentucky.     Our resource allocation mixer will begin with a warm welcome from our founder and a round of introductions from our co-hosts and community members at Black Remote She.

    We will provide an explanation of the purpose of the mixer, including an overview of national and international community resources attendees can bookmark for future use.

    Join Jasmine Williams-Jacobs (all pronouns), Founder and Director at Black Remote She, Leigh Amadi / L-A🌻 (they/she), Culture & Strategy Architect, and Mo Viviane (they/she/he/its), Health Researcher, Independent Journalist, and PhD Student, for a Q&A session.

    During this session, attendees will have an opportunity to request, exchange, and/or share resources supporting our collective livelihood and well-being, including mutual aid, funding opportunities, gender-affirming care, career/entrepreneurship support, and more.

  • 3:50 PM - 4:00 PM ET / 12:50 PM - 1:00PM ET

    We will wrap up the event and offer an opportunity for mixer attendees to stay connected with each other.
